The VJ Salomone Group history spans just over a century. Over the years the VJ Salomone Group has represented some of the most recognisable brands in the world.
The Group comprises a holding company VJ Salomone Ltd and a number of wholly owned subsidiaries: VJ Salomone Consumer Lines, VJ Salomone Marketing, VJ Salomone Pharma, Pharmasal and SG Solutions.
The Group’s core operation consists in importation and distribution with the main business range being fast moving consumer goods, healthcare, cosmetics & fragrances and information technology. Besides its wholesale operation, the Group owns and operates a number of retail outlets including pharmacies and iCentres which retail Apple and Dell products.
While VJ Salomone has grown and diversified over the years, it has remained a strongly-knit family-run business. The third-generation directors still embrace the ethos and guiding spirit of the founders and firmly believe that long term business relationships are built on sound ethical values and mutual trust. This approach has enabled the Group to cement long lasting relationships with its stakeholders, including its principals and customers, as well as its professional workforce consisting in over 300 dedicated employees.
The Group owns and operates state-of-the-art warehouses and offices which employ the latest technology and systems to ensure that the VJ Salomone Group is ahead of its competitors in the Maltese market.
VJ Salomone Group continues to be a market leader in all of the sectors it operates in the Maltese market. Recently, through its connection to the Apple brand, the Group has also expanded overseas via special purpose joint ventures.
